Britain will transfer to Ukraine the latest Baltic NightFall rocket: When to wait for a weapon 600 km
About it reports "Military" with reference to the words of the Minister of Defense of the United Kingdom John Gili during a briefing with journalists. "For more than three and a half years, we were in the UK among the first to support Ukraine and provide it with the necessary help. We will always try to respond to what, according to Ukraine, it needs the most. But when we do it, we do not disclose the details of the technologies we provide," he said.
The fact that the NightFall rocket began to be developed in Britain at the end of August 2025. It is known that the rocket will move along the quasi -plate path, maneuvering at the last stage of the flight, will have a range of flight more than 600 kilometers and will bear 300 kg of explosives. The target error will be no more than 5 meters.
The NightFall navigation system should be stable despite the difficulty in the electromagnetic environment, even in the absence of satellite communication or replacement by the HRS. It should also have a low multi-spectral signature and use stealth technology. The starting unit should accommodate at least 2 rockets, and after starting, the crew should be able to leave the start area for 5 minutes.
The expected value of one rocket does not exceed £ 500,000 ($ 675,000), excluding warheads, starting installation and development costs. In the case of contracting, the manufacturer will be able to produce about 10 missiles per month, and further increase production. The rocket should be made for 9-2 months.
It should be reminded that on August 28, the UK Ministry of Defense announced the NightFall project, which provides for the creation of a new operative-tactical ballistic missile with a range of more than 600 kilometers in record time. Meanwhile, on September 4, the Ukrainian company Fire Point showed FP-7 and FP-9 ballistic missiles, which may soon be obtained by the Armed Forces.
