The President of Ukraine discussed with Greece Prime Minister increased pressure on Russia

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Greece Kiriakos Kharokotakis. The main topics of discussion are increased sanction pressure on Russia and continuation of Ukraine's support. Volodymyr Zelensky briefly informed her diplomatic work with European leaders and the President of the United States of America Donald Trump.

The head of state emphasized that there are no signs that Russia really wants to end the war, so it is important to increase pressure on it. The President thanked the Prime Minister of Greece and the entire European Union for the 17th package of sanctions against Russia. According to Vladimir Zelensky, it is necessary to strengthen sanctions against energy, banks, shadow tanker fleet and reduce the marginal price for oil.

Kiriakos Maryakis assured in support of practical steps in increasing sanction pressure on the Russian Federation. Separately, the head of state emphasized that it is important to continue the support of Ukraine, the Ukrainian army, the defense-industrial complex and to strengthen air defense. The President thanked Greece for the readiness of Greece. Volodymyr Zelensky invited Kiriakos Maryakisis to take part in the Ukrainian Summit-Southeastern Europe.
