The drone operator was able to help three groups of servicemen who went out of the route to get out of the danger zone in poor visibility. In April 2023, the Dji Matrice drone operator with the call sign "Bugai" helped three groups of the Brigade of Rapid Response of the National Guard of Ukraine "Rubizh" to find the way to their positions. This is stated in the publication of September 5 on the official page of the unit on Facebook.

It is reported that in the Bakhmut direction a group of crew on the MTLB and a group that went for the wounded got off the route due to poor visibility. The third group went in search of, but their efforts were not successful. According to the author of the post, it was about second o'clock in the morning, and the fog was so thick that nothing was visible further. Then Bugay suggested using Matrice 300 as a landmark for lost groups.

"I lifted a drone 100 m, the road was visible, then flew from the time ravine by 3 km and lifted another 200 m. Then turned all navigation light bulbs, backlighting from below and stroboscope," - said the UAV operator as a result of the drone successfully brought all three Groups on their positions, after which he was called for a symbolic call sign "David's Star". "This is how the technique in the war literally saves life.
