At the same time, the Ukrainian and Russian command did not comment on the raid of drones on military facilities in the Russian Federation at the time of the material. The Russian Telegram-channel Astra posted a photo and video of the effects of the UAV attack on Saransk and reported with reference to the locals about the fire in the area of ​​the Optio-Field Systems plant.

According to the authors of the channel, it is the first and only enterprise in the Russian Federation that produces optical fiber. The head of the Center for Combating Misinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Andriy Kovalenko said that a factory of fiber optic systems was significantly affected in Saransk during the plaque, and this could lead to stopping its work. "Opto -fiber is one of the advantages of the enemy at the front at the expense of drones on the fiber.

This plant fully provides the Russian army with an optic fiber," he said. The Astra Telegram channel also showed a fire in Tula in the morning of May 7 and reported to the locals that two large enterprises of the Russian defense industry were burning: JSC "Design Bureau of Instrumentation" and Scientific Production Association "Alloy" (NGO "alloy").

Andriy Kovalenko noted that JSC "Design Bureau of Instrumentation" is one of the flagships of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation. It develops modern weapons systems, including anti -tank complexes, combat modules and small arms that are actively used by occupiers in the war against Ukraine.

"Alloy" in turn is the main developer of rocket launchers for the Russian army-this is a scientific and production association created "Grad", "Hurricanes" and "Smerters", which the Russians use both the front lines and for shelling of Russian cities.
