Broken teeth, broken bones and cut off heads: the UN released a report on torture of captives

In the current report, the UN Commission described the treatment of military in several places of imprisonment in Russia. Ukrainian defenders were undergoing physical and sexual abuse. Ukrainian prisoners of war, which are kept in the occupied territories or in Russia, are undergoing heavy torture during the battles. This is stated in the report of the Independent International Commission of the UN. Torture took place both for information and punishment.

Also, Ukrainian servicemen were committed by sexual violence. Eyewitness stories testify to the systematicity of such actions, and the performers are members of the Russian "special forces" of the Federal Sentence Service and their full -time employees. The interrogations were also attended by FSB staff. Ukrainian prisoners of war were mostly moved and kept in prison for 9 to 15. 5 months. They were in seven different places in Russia and in the territory of occupied Ukraine.

The prisoners were in the detention center # 1 in the city of Kursk Kursk region, in the detention center № 2 in the city of Old Oskol, in the correctional colony № 6 in the city of Valuyki, Belgorod region, in the correctional colony № 1 in the city of Donsky, Tula region. One of the Ukrainian soldiers, released from captivity, told how he was subjected to torture and kept in custody in the correctional colony # 1 in Donsky.

According to him, the FSVP staff beat him before interrogation and after which he received a fracture of the clavicle. Also, despite his leg injury, he continued time to jump on the spot, which is why he developed gangrene. He was beaten on the buttocks in the detention center, which is why he had bleeding from the anus, and in the courtyard of the colony he was beaten on his head and seriously injured his leg. The serviceman also knocked out several teeth.

Due to bullying, he intended to hang on a uniform in the camera, but was detained during this attempt and beaten very much. They were beaten until the coccyx and toe were broken. It was also tortured for 2 weeks. After being released from captivity, he had already undergone a course of treatment. One of the exhibited people said that he was beaten by different tools in different parts of the body.

The executioners at this time mocked and asked him, "When will you finally die?" There are also cases where the prisoners were tortured while taking a shower. "It was cruelly. It was incredibly painful. Almost all my stay there I lay on the floor, my wounds were bleed, but these ruthless persons just laughed and demanded that I stood," - said the former prisoner of war.

The exhibited said that the Russians threatened rapes, touched the body cavities during the checks and struck cruel torture of the genitals. One of the men told how he tortured electricity through the genitals. The victims also mentioned other methods of torture that were systematically used in separate pre -trial detention facilities. The Ukrainian soldiers who survived after captivity in the hands of "Wagnerians, testified about it.

The fighter from the 17th Brigade of the Armed Forces told how witnessed the mass murder of Ukrainian prisoners. They managed to survive. The other military said that the "Wagnerivka" showed him the heads of two killed Ukrainians and threatened to cut off his head as well. These cases were not an exception, but rather became a systemic phenomenon. The UN report said that prisoners were mostly denied medical care, or it was improper.

The food was bad, portions are scanty, and time was given for 2 to 7 minutes. The victims reported excessive suffering from famine and resorted to eating worms, soaps, paper and dog food residues, which led to a sharp fall in body weight. In some establishments, access to the shower and toilet was restricted, or the toilet was served by a hole in the ground.
