Pentagon was accused of Russians in an attempt to disable Starlink's connection in Ukraine

US General Censman Saltzman believes that Cosmos inevitably becomes an area of potential conflicts. Therefore, the Pentagon intends to implement a program of strengthening space defense. US Space Commander General Censman accused Moscow of attempting to disrupt Starlink satellite communication systems in Ukraine. In an interview with The Washington Post on August 22, he said that these attempts were not successful.

Saltzman spoke about the American program of strengthening the space defense of Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture, which involves the removal of the constellation constellations that will create a network to provide communication. The first 10 satellites were launched in April, by the end of the year it is planned to launch another 18 satellites, and next year - another 160. As a result, the network can grow up to 1000 satellites.

According to the commander, the pioneers in this direction were the satellites of Ilona Mask Starlink. However, the increase in the number of satellites is associated with problems that, in particular, come from the Russians. "Increasing the number of satellites is a much more complex problem of targeting. We are already seeing the consequences of this in Ukraine with the Starlink group. The Russians are unsuccessfully trying to stifle it," Saltzman said.

The general also drew attention to China, who, according to him, "went in a different direction" - towards the consolidation of high -tech military means. Created at the end of 2015, the NVAC strategic support forces are a hybrid that combines cybernetic, space and radio electronic struggle, as well as psychological operations. "It is a universal tool for a modern information war," Saltzman said.

According to him, cosmos inevitably becomes an area of potential conflicts, so the Pentagon has a task, which is a space advantage - "we protect our own, we do not allow them. " For this purpose, there are US space forces, and they must become greater and more influential to do their work.
