On the night of December 31 to January 1, the Armed Forces in occupied Makeevka eliminated 400 Russian soldiers, almost 300 were injured. As specified, all mobilized in the captured city of Donetsk region were placed in the premises of vocational school №19. Residents reported that the "cotton" in the occupied city occurred at exactly 00:00 on New Year's Eve. The destroyed VET was located in the area of ​​Ilyich at the intersection of Kremlin and Chuguevskaya streets. According to eyewitnesses, the corpses of military aggressor countries scattered around the area and sidewalks. In pro -Russian publications, the authors criticized the decisions of the military command to place mobilized in the school building.

Propagandists write that there are enough enterprises with strong walls and basements in the region that could allegedly protect the reflected Russians during a blow.
