60 new samples of technology: since the beginning of 2024 the Armed Forces Arsenal has been replenished almost twice - the Ministry of Defense

Deputy Minister of Defense Ivan Havrylyuk noted that not only the total number of OWT samples admitted for operation in the Armed Forces, but also new samples of weapons of domestic development and production. In two months this year, almost twice as much samples of domestic and foreign weapons and military equipment (OWT) were codied and admitted to the Armed Forces than in the same period last year.

On February 29, the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Ivan Gavrylyuk, informed about it on February 29. He noted that among the new samples of technology are several remedies, including the so-called "trenches" of radio electronic means that can effectively counteract the enemy FPV-Drome. The General noted that only in February 2024 only 33 were codied and admitted to the operation of weapons, and last year-only 33.

Six samples of automotive and special equipment and 120 mm mortar mortar were also allowed to operate. "In addition, the list of novelties for the Armed Forces contains technical means of demining, elements of dynamic protection for armored vehicles and UAV ammunition," the Ministry of Defense said.

According to the Deputy Minister, codification, that is, the admission of a sample of weapons and military equipment of domestic production to operation with the assignment of the NATO nomenclature number, allows it to be purchased from the state budget from the state budget for manufacturers for the units of defense forces of Ukraine.
