"Transfer to the Armed Forces": Ukrainian Diaspora calls Australia not to destroy MH90 helicopters

The Australian government plans to dispose of 45 Taipan helicopters. The Diaspora calls for them to pass them to Ukraine, because it may be even cheaper than the parsing of the sides. The Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organizations (AFUO) calls on the country's government not to dispose of MH90 Taipan transport helicopters and transfer them to Ukraine. The corresponding message was posted on the Federation's official page.

The Ukrainian diaspora calls not to spend millions of dollars on the disposal of MH90 transport helicopters. Royal Air Force stated that they no longer need Taipan. Despite the official request of Ukraine for helicopters, the Australian government has decided to disassemble 45 helicopters.

The report emphasizes that 45 Taipan could significantly help Ukraine: on January 14 at 2:00 pm, Ukrainians are going to hold a rally near the Sydney Town Hall calling for a government to cancel the MH90 decision to cancel the MH90. Other states will also hold coordinated rallies over the next weeks. "The Prime Minister said she supports Ukraine, but the help packages have become smaller and not so frequent. Words will not help us win this war. We need actions and now," AFUO said.
