One military costs Ukraine's budget of over UAH 1 million: details

The state budget for 2025 will take into account the military realities, which will make it more. During the formation of the current military budget of Ukraine, the IMF forecast was taken into account, according to which the war would end in the summer of 2024. Currently, the military budget of Ukraine needs additional funding. The Cabinet press service reports.

"When we planned the budget in 2024 with the IMF, one of the forecasts of partners was that the war would continue until the summer of 2024. Accordingly, military expenditures were planned in the budget as they are now," the Prime Minister said Ukraine Denis Shmigal. He also added that Ukraine needs an increase in the Armed Forces budget. "The 500 billion figure, which is voiced and submitted, is the deficit that our Armed Forces needed by the end of this year to finance," the Shmigal states.

Shmigal reminds that one military cost Ukraine UAH 1. 2 million. That is, through mobilization and further filling of vacancies in the Armed Forces, these costs are greater. The budget for 2025 will be based on relevant realities. The Ukrainian government is already actively cooperating with the IMF in its development. We will remind, already on October 1 in Ukraine the system of regulation of circulation of medical cannabis will be launched.
