The occupiers restore the infrastructure of the Donetsk Airport: the network showed satellite

To spread: the invaders probably began to restore the infrastructure destroyed in 2014 of the Donetsk airport. The satellite images published in the network shows that the Russians burned fortifications on the runway and began construction at car parking lots. The Military Journal channel writes that the recovery began in July 2025. Publika administrations have published satellite data that testify to construction work on the airport.

There are a few changes in the pictures: in addition, construction is likely to take place in the Metro Cash and Carry hypermarket # 24, but the channel authors indicate that it can be both a military facility and a simple recovery. Military Journal also noted that they received single reports of hostile unmanned aerial vehicles type "Shahd-136/Geran-2" from the airport in Donetsk, but this information has no official confirmation.

About 2,500 Ukrainian defenders, called "cyborgs" for extreme stability and indomitability, kept the defense of the Donetsk airport within 242 days from May 26, 2014 to January 22, 2015. On January 20, 2015, the Russians undermined the columns that kept overlapping the new terminal, which led to the death of 41 Ukrainian military. In total, at least 101 Ukrainian "Cyborg" was killed in the battles for the Donetsk airport.
