According to the Ministry of Economy, in November 2023 the growth of GDP of Ukraine slowed down to 4%, while in October the improvement was recorded up to 10. 5%. The department also named the cause of problems. The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine announced a decrease in the growth of the Ukrainian economy as a result of November 2023. The department noted that the negative effect on the GDP of the country has a strike of Polish carriers on the Polish-Ukrainian border.

Thus, according to preliminary ratings, in November 2023, the growth of the Ukrainian economy slowed up to 4% (± 2%) compared to 10. 5% in October. "In November 2023, almost a monthly blocking of Polish carriers of the Polish-Ukrainian border was a major negative factor for exporting manufacturers and producers dependent on imported raw materials during the delivery of products by road,"-said Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko.

However, thanks to the work of the sea corridor, Ukraine manages to partially compensate for the losses that the economy causes the blockade of the Polish-Ukrainian border.

According to the Ministry of Economy, this was primarily used: "According to our estimates, positive factors in November have somewhat exceeded the balance of influence on GDP, and as a result, according to preliminary operational estimates of the Ministry of Economy, GDP growth was observed at a level of 4%," - said the Minister of Economics.

Meanwhile, on December 20, the National Bank of Ukraine estimated that the reduction of foreign trade in November 2023 amounted to $ 860 million, and in December - $ 620 million. "The blockade of individual terrestrial crossing points across the western borders of Ukraine has caused export losses in November in the amount of $ 160 million and a reduction in imports by $ 700 million," the National Bank reported.
