Similar to the Ukrainian "Vampire": the Armed Forces destroyed the Russian analogue of the "Baba Yaga" drone (video)

Share: Soldiers of the "Spalakh" unit of the 28th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit a Russian heavy bomber drone using an FPV drone. Judging by the released video, the Armed Forces destroyed the Russian version of the Baba Yaga-type drone. The UAV was under a camouflage net and was equipped with two 82-mm mortar mines. The corresponding footage appeared in the Telegram channel of the unit. "Friends, we have a truly unique find for you.

Apparently, this is perhaps the first defeat of an enemy weapon of this class — and it is already in our collection," the publication said. As "Militaryny" notes, the enemy drone is visually similar to the Ukrainian hexacopter "Vampir", which has long been used to drop ammunition on equipment and fortify the occupiers. The Vampire drone has six rotors that provide high lift and better stability in flight. The UAV weighs more than 30 kg and can lift loads weighing up to 20 kg.
