Iran Khodro Tara is a slightly modified copy of the Peugeot 301 and Citroen C-Lysee, created 10 years ago. The French models of the sedan differ only in design details. In the Russian Federation, they decided to replace imported cars with EU or Japan products from Iran. In early 2023, the local market is planned to be launched by Iran Khodro (IKCO). This model was presented in Iran last year, though it is not completely new. The fact is that Iran Khodro Tara is a slightly transfused version of Peugeot 301 and Citroen C-Lysee sedans. These inexpensive models have been manufactured since 2012: they have been collected in Russia, but the Stellantis concern joined sanctions against the Russian Federation and the car release was stopped. From its donors Ikco Tara differs outside the chopped front of the front and lanterns to the entire body width.

In the profile, the Iranian car repeats French models. In the Tara salon you can see familiar steering wheel, appliances and switches. The top version has air conditioning, hatch, cruise control and rear-view camera. The volume of the trunk is 640 liters.
