"Connection established": Ukrainian cyber warriors "congratulated" the Russian Armed Forces on the Day of the military signalman

Share: On October 20, Russia celebrates the Day of the Military Signalman. The Ukrainian military congratulated the occupiers on this holiday. Specialists in military cyber operations paralyzed the websites of companies that are part of the Russian defense-industrial complex, in particular contractors in military logistics and communication equipment for the Russian army, sources in the Defense Forces of Ukraine told Focus.

On the sites, instead of the start pages, images appeared in the form of posters in the genre of propaganda from the Second World War, but with inscriptions mocking the signalmen. The information that was "extracted" from the company's servers was handed over to the Ukrainian military and law enforcement agencies. This is not the first such "greeting". On July 12, Ukrainian military cyber specialists hacked 110 Russian websites, timing this operation to the Russian national holiday "Russia Day".

Among the hacked sites are the portals of the occupation administrations of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, as well as the sites of logistics and construction companies that provide services to the Russian army. Russians were reminded of a million compatriots who died, went missing or were seriously injured during the aggression against Ukraine.
