War is not an obstacle: in Ukraine the number of expensive car owners has doubled in Ukraine

In Ukraine, the number of premium cars that are subject to additional tax has increased. In 2023, local budgets received 101. 52 million UAH of transport tax. The State Tax Service estimated that in 2023 3072 individuals need to pay a transport tax.

The number of premium vehicles that are subject to additional tax is 3548 units. For comparison, in 2022, only 1593 people had to pay the transport tax, and the number of premium cars was 1723 units. In 2021, 2377 such individuals and 2574 cars were registered. In addition, in Ukraine, the number of legal entities that registered expensive cars is reduced every year. In 2023, 2079 companies were registered against 3153 in 2021. This year, local budgets received UAH 101. 52 million of transport tax.
