22 missiles fighter: F-15Ex Eagle II in the final version made the first flight (video)

The newest version of the famous F-15 has a digital cabin, equipped with a Fly-By-Wire control system, as well as armed with 22 air-air-air-AMRAAM or AIM-9x Sidewinder. Boeing raised the first F-15Ex Eagle II fighter in the air, which was created in final operational form. The aircraft went to the first flight, with only a soil color and a small serial number 20-0003 on paired tails. But before supplying to the US Air Force, the aircraft must receive the final color and honors.

During the comprehensive tests and evaluation of the F-15Ex aircraft participated in 19 major exercises and interacted with the 5th generation aircraft. The data collected are currently studied by the Center for OPPs and Pentagon, after which a decision will be made to start mass production.

Experts noted that in general, F-15Ex Eagle II has a number of strategic advantages over older F-15 models, including increased service life and reducing operating costs.
