At the same time, the terrorist country illegally uses internal jurisdiction to disguise violations of prisoners of war, he added. “Azov acted exclusively within the limits of legally motivated competencies. Russian jurisdiction does not apply to the territory of Ukraine at all, and therefore the decision is a legal nonsense . . . Moreover, the decisions of the Russian courts will certainly have no consequences in the international legal field.

While Russia must be officially recognized as a terrorist state, ”Podolyak said. On August 2, the Kremlin regime declared a regiment of Azov a "terrorist organization". The decision was made shortly after the mass murder of the Russian defenders of Ukraine in Olenivka, where they also kept the Azov fighters.
