Mobilization of prisoners in the Armed Forces: The Ministry of Defense told who would be allowed to serve in the army

It is not so easy to get prisoners to the ranks of the Armed Forces: much depends on the warehouses of their crimes, the conclusions of the medical commission and the desire of commanders to accept them in units. The killers and rapists are promised not to take. Condemned Ukrainians, mobilized to the ranks of the Armed Forces, will serve in special units. The decision on service in the army depends not only on the prisoner, said the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Dmitry Lazutkin.

Much depends on the crimes, the conclusions of the military-medical commissions, court decisions and the willingness of commanders to make prisoners in the units, said the spokesman of the ministry. The decision on parole is approved by the court.
