The Armed Forces fighters can determine who will receive payments for them: Zelensky signed the law

Law No. 11407 enables servicemen to issue orders for persons who will receive cash. He does not apply to fighters who voluntarily surrendered, went to the HSC or carried out desertion. On November 19, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky approved amendments to Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine "On Social and Legal Protection of Servicemen and their Families".

This is stated in the card of the document posted on the official website of the Verkhovna Rada, which defines the procedure for payments to the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces, who were captured or considered to be disappeared by Ukrainian parliamentarians on October 8. According to the document, fighters can decide on their own who will receive compensation. Law No.

11407 provides for the possibility of servicemen to issue orders for persons who will receive cash in the event of captivity or missing. In the absence of an order, payment of financial security is made in equal parts between: money will not be charged if the parents of the defender have been deprived of parental rights and they have not been renewed, and if a representative of children with disabilities from childhood or parents already receive child support.

If the above persons are not identified, the payment of financial security should be made equal to the units between adult children and the native brothers/sisters, whose legal representatives are a serviceman. However, the total amount of payments should not exceed 20%. The law does not apply to military personnel who voluntarily have been captured, left unauthorized military units (places of service) or carried out desertion.
