The situation is difficult: the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation lead the offensive throughout the east line of the front - Syrsky

According to the commander of the eastern group of troops, the activity of the enemy does not stop, but the Armed Forces continue to defend themselves. Actions are being taken to help save the lives of defenders. Russian invaders continue attempting to advance on all parts of the front in eastern Ukraine, but the Armed Forces fighters keep defense. This was written by the commander of the Eastern Group of Troops Alexander Sirsky in his Telegram channel on December 10.

"The operational situation in the East remains difficult. The enemy does not stop the offensive actions throughout the front," the message reads. Separately, Oleksandr Sirsky noted that together with the commanders who continue to keep defense in the eastern regions of Ukraine, an analysis of the current situation was analyzed, and they were able to consider several scenarios of how the events will develop further.

"They jointly made the necessary decisions and took measures to ensure the stability of our defense, preserve the lives of our soldiers and the rational use of ammunition," - continues the commander of the Eastern Group of Troops. Earlier, analysts at the American Institute for War Study (ISW) noted that Russian invaders were trying to conduct offensive operations along the entire front line.

Their activity may be related to the future elections of the Russian President, which will take place in March next year. The main efforts are recorded in the eastern part of Ukraine. The enemy intends to control completely Lugansk region, and also wants to advance to the eastern part of Kharkiv region and the northern part of Donetsk region.
