"The Russian Federation will return to its tactics": in the United States told about Ukraine's support in winter (video)

According to the Coordinator of the US National Security Council John Kirby, the Russian invaders targets critical infrastructure in Ukraine last winter. In the United States, the same enemy's actions are expected this year. The United States identified three main areas of assistance to Ukraine for its preparation for winter. This was stated on Thursday, November 30, by US National Security Council Coordinator John Kirby at a briefing.

Kirby noted that last winter, Russian invaders aimed at critical infrastructure in Ukraine, which is why the enemy's actions are expected in the United States this year. These fears are supported by recent drone attacks and rocket strokes made by the Russian forces. "We expect Russia to apply the same tactics this winter," Kirby emphasized.

According to him, US President Joe Biden and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan made a priority for assisting Ukraine in winter preparation, as it was in the previous period. "We focused on three key aspects. First, we strengthen Ukrainian air defense for neutralizing missile and unmanned attacks on critical infrastructure from Russia," Kirby said. He noted the provision of the US and their allies to Ukraine anti -aircraft missile systems Patriot, Hawk, Avenger, and other air defense.

"Secondly, we support Ukraine in strengthening its energy infrastructure," Kirby said. According to him, Ukraine was provided with protective equipment, including special grids, armature and Hesco barriers to ensure the safety of important objects. "And thirdly, we supply Ukraine's backup equipment and materials, such as high-voltage vehicles, industrial electricity generators and mobile autonomous equipment, to ensure stability and prevent heat and electricity loss," he said.

On November 24, the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko stated that the Russian Federation is attacking the energy system of Ukraine daily, but so far to talk about massive blows is too early. On November 25, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that shelling of Ukraine's energy objects were able to harm and the Russian Head of State emphasized that the actions of the Russian Federation lead to the accumulation of a reaction, which at one point may be decisive.
