The Armed Forces have problems with ammunition through the destroyed bridges in the north of Crimea - intelligence

Ponton crossings are not able to withstand a large stream of heavy equipment with weapons, so Russian troops depend on crossing through Armenian. In mid -August, Russian troops continued to bring pontoon bridges at Chongar and Genichesk checkpoints located on the administrative border between the south of Ukraine and temporarily occupied Crimea. However, they are unlikely to solve all the problems of Russians related to military logistics.

This was announced on August 23 by the UK Ministry of Defense Ministry. British intelligence notes that the bridges in the area were partially destroyed as a result of strokes of Ukrainian forces by high -precision weapons caused in early August this year. Therefore, in order to solve logistics problems, the Russians are forced to give pontoon crossings that are unable to withstand the flow of heavy equipment that sets out ammunition and weapons to the front.

"As a result, Russian troops partially depend on a long crossing through Armenian, located in the north of Crimea. This further complicates the work of the Russian logistics network in the south," the British Defense Ministry emphasized. Earlier it was reported that after providing Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets, it will be possible to strike long-range missiles AGM-158A Jassm. Military experts believe that this type of weapons can make a significant contribution to Crimea.
