Ukrainians struck the Russian radar "Casta-2E2": the network showed the consequences (photos)

To spread: satellite images demonstrated the result of the attack of the Defense Forces of Ukraine on the radar station (radar) "Casta-2E2" in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation. Casta-2e2 radar was hit on September 2. Satellite images made on September 4, published the Exilenova+Telegram channel. In the photo you can see the affected hangars. According to the author of the publication, satellite images indicate damage to the two generators that feed the radar.

According to "militaristic", the station covered the southern part of the Russian Federation from the territory of the radar military unit located in the south of Anapa. According to the portal, the Russians have used the radar for over ten years, trying to hide them under domes. "This is confirmed by the testimony of the locals, the former servicemen of this part, as well as the abandoned appearance of the territory where for some time they even conducted excursions," the publication emphasized.

Casta-2E2 Station is a mobile low-percentage of circular inspection of the next regime, designed to control airspace, determine the range, azimuth, flight echelon and trace characteristics of air objects. The radar is capable of detecting planes, helicopters, remotely manned apparatus, winged missiles and other air objects, including those flying at small and extremely small altitudes.
