Isolate society: Russians restrict access to the Internet in the Luhansk region - CNS

According to the underground, these restrictions have not yet been implemented due to the technical and financial difficulties that have arisen. The center of national resistance states that in the temporarily occupied territory of Lugansk region the occupation administration is trying to intimidate local residents with new restrictions - access to the Internet. This was reported by the National Resistance Center.

The enemy is trying to develop new methods to limit the communication of the guerrillas in the territory of operations in cooperation with the Armed Forces. One of these methods is the installation of a wire Internet, which is only possible after the identification procedure. It is forbidden to use VPN when using this type of internet connection as it can be suspected by special services.

The resistance center is tested that the occupiers will probably try to increase the staff of special centers that monitor the traffic of subscribers. Currently, these restrictions have not yet been implemented because of the technical and financial difficulties that have arisen.

However, the occupiers are actively announcing these planned changes in the information environment, seeking to influence the local population and intimidate it to prevent the transfer of information on the movement and location of the armed units of the Russian Armed Forces. Regarding safety measures, it is recommended: on August 26, the Ukrainian underground reported that in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk region, some industrial enterprises have suspended their activities.
