The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation try to seize the initiative in the Kupyansk-Liman direction-Cherevaty

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, despite all efforts, did not achieve any serious intermediate result, except for losses, said the deputy commander of the Eastern Group. Russian invaders are trying to take the initiative to the defense forces in the Limano-Kupyan direction, to escalate the situation and to impose their will. On August 1, the Deputy Commander of the Eastern Grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on strategic communications Sergey Cherevaty announced on the TV channel.

According to him, the enemy uses artillery massively in this direction of the front. "The enemy fired at artillery 617 times in this day, made 7 aircraft. There were 13 combat clashes, during which we destroyed 43 invaders, 123 were injured, suffered 3 enemy BMPs, a tank, two mortars, two artillery gun , two ammunition depots and three trucks. The enemy here, despite all the efforts, has not achieved any serious intermediate result, except for losses, "Cherevaty said.

He noted that the competent work of the staffs, Ukrainian commanders on the ground, the motivation and the correct actions of the fighters of the Defense Forces did not allow the enemy to develop any result. It should be reminded that the Ukrainian military undermined the warehouse with the ammunition of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Kherson region. The Armed Forces destroyed the composition in the village of Rybalche in the Kherson region.
