The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained another informant of the Russian special services, which participated in the preparation of a new series of air attacks of the Russian Federation on the Odessa region. This was reported on September 22 in the SBU.

According to law enforcement officers, for hostile blows, the malefactor handed over 9 objects of military and critical infrastructure to the region to the occupiers. "Among them are the fortifications of defense forces, fortifications and strategically important locations of railway connection," the message reads. In addition, the Russian corrector tried to trace the directions of flights of combat aviation of the Armed Forces.

However, the Security Service exposed the defendant at the initial stage of its intelligence and subversive activities and informed the command of Ukrainian troops about the possible threats of air attacks of the Russian Federation. As a result, measures were taken to protect the defense forces on these locations. The SBU's employees were detained on the attempt to transfer new intelligence to the occupiers.

"Thus, the Ukrainian intelligence service prevented the performance of a series of air strikes of the enemy for" prepared "purposes in the region," the SBU added. According to the investigation, the Russian informant was a resident of the Black Sea, who at the beginning of a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation supported the occupiers and actively "wrote" on the forbidden social networks.

Thus, she got into the field of view of hostile special services, which later remotely involved her in cooperation in favor of the aggressor country. To obtain the intelligence, the malefactor regularly traveled a taxi in the region and recorded the places of basement and movement of Ukrainian defenders. "She sent the information received to the occupiers in the form of text and voice messages and screenshots of electronic maps, which indicated Ukrainian objects," law enforcement officers said.

During the search, a mobile phone was removed from the detainee with evidence of its communication with the aggressor. Investigators of the Security Service informed her of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. She is now in custody. The Security Service of Ukraine reported that the malefactor now faces up to 12 years in prison.
