Even more aircraft: Germany has announced another package of assistance to Ukraine

Gepard anti -aircraft complexes, which provides Ukraine with Germany, are capable of destroying an air target at an altitude of 3 km and at a distance of 4 km. In addition, the Armed Forces will receive a batch of reconnaissance drones to monitor the actions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. On October 20, the Ministry of Defense of Germany reported the allocation of the next assistance package to Ukraine.

The package includes additional self -propelled Gepard anti -aircraft complexes that will help the Armed Forces to knock Russian missiles and drones during night attacks. The details of the new package are listed on the website of the department. The German government has decided to provide Ukraine with a military support package, which consists of more than 60 positions.

In addition to anti -aircraft complexes - reconnaissance drones of two different types, tank tractors for saving armored vehicles from the battlefield, bridge compilers and almost four thousand smoke shells. The Bundesver website also stated that in 2023, EUR 5. 4 billion was allocated for military assistance in 2023, which is twice as much as in 2022 (EUR 2 billion). In the future, they plan to spend more than 10 billion euros.
