A cloud of poisonous smoke rose above the city.
The fire covered all four floors of the building, some of them collapsed. 130 firefighters worked on the spot. The plant stored sulfuric acid and copper cyanide, chemicals occurred. The Diehl concern produces, in particular, IRIS-T air defense systems for Ukraine. However, they were not manufactured in Berlin, there were work on metal processing for cars.
"One of the foreign intelligence informed the German intelligence services that the fire was the result of Russian sabotage and that they have specific evidence of Russia's involvement. Now the German authorities are studying this data. It is unclear why the metallurgical and not the military plant was chosen. It is the capital of Germany, " - writes the newspaper.
