The Ministry of Defense of Russia assures that the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov allegedly visited the territory of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhya region. This was reported by the press service of the department on August 1.

It is noted that it was a working visit and a representative of the Russian General Staff allegedly heard reports from the command of the current situation on the front.
