The MO has approved a new personnel policy in the Armed Forces: How will the call to the army change

The new concept of personnel policy involves the replacement of military service with a contract by providing equal opportunities for men and women in the army. The head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov signed a decree approving the concept of military personnel policy for the next five years. The document outlines the strategy of completing army personnel both during the war and in peacetime. The Ministry of Defense reported this on Sunday, November 5.

The main problems to solve with the help of a new military personnel policy: the result of the introduction of a new concept of personnel policy will be the transition to contract military service instead of conscription. Other expected results: In addition, the new concept declares a human -centric approach to the career management of servicemen.

This involves the effective distribution of personnel taking into account the education and professional level of servicemen, which will allow career growth and close the needs of the Armed Forces in rare military specialties. According to the document, the control over the implementation of the Concept and the evaluation of the results of its implementation will be assigned to the Personnel Management Committee of Ukraine.

Recall that the Council proposes to relieve age restrictions for conscription. The conditions of conscription after 60 years will be not only high professional training, experience of service and recognition of HCP suitable for health reasons, but above all a voluntary desire.
