After escaping and 2-year break: Shakhtar's exgrapher Rosputko received Russian citizenship

To spread: in 2023, the young footballer Alexander Rosputko fled from the airport during a visiting match and left for Russia. Now he returns to the field as part of the Russian club. The 21-year-old native of Gorlovka in Donetsk received a Russian passport. This is evidenced by data on the website of the Association of Professional Football Clubs of the Russian Federation "Football National League".

It has been declared since August 11 as a new midfielder of the Russian football club "Chaika" from the village of Peschanook Rostov region. Rosbutko will play number 8. This is also confirmed by the football player on Transfermarkt portal. It stated that the midfielder joined the team from August 15 and has a contract until June 30, 2026. The club's social networks did not publish an official report on a contract with a new player.

Shakhtar did not comment on the situation at the time of the publication. Initially, the probable escape of the footballer was reported in the media. It was noted that after playing in the UEFA Youth League on July 4, Rosputko did not return to Ukraine: the team had to fly from Belgium aircraft, but at the airport it "disappeared", with the form of the player found neatly folded in the territory.

There was no prerequisite for the escape, because the day before the guy agreed with Shakhtar on a new contract for 5 years. Subsequently, information emerged that the 19-year-old athlete fled to Russia. This also explained on social networks that he cleaned all his profiles from the photos. The Ukrainian disconnected his phone. It was reported that Rosputka's parents remained in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk region and support the aggression of the Russian Federation.

Due to similar views of the midfielder there was a conflict with other players. On October 13, Shakhtar football club stated that they did not have information about the residence of the Rosputka and gave him a return to Ukraine for five days. The football player did not return, and on October 23 it became known that the management decided to terminate the contract with him.
