"Dest will not": Snipers of the Armed Forces told about mobilization, training and combat missions

One of the snipers has four children but disagreed. The other - went to the army at 19 years. The fighters explained that they wanted to defend their homeland, but do not believe that the compulsion to the army is acceptable. Two snipers of the Armed Forces have been in the army for over ten years, defended Mariupol, Shirokine, Popasne, Gold. They are now in the conditional rear, but are ready to find themselves at the front at any time.

The fighters told RBC-Ukraine about the attitude to the forced conscription and what the snipers work and how the snipers work. Journalists spoke with two fighters of the sniper group as part of the Armed Forces reconnaissance group-with the commander of the group nicknamed "Widow" and a fighter nicknamed "Physruchus", a sniper of the 1st category. The military called their unit "specific" and said that they did not get mobilized.

The vast majority of team members are professional military, not mobilized or volunteers. At the same time, the commander has four children, could decorate a deferral, but did not do so, because children need to be protected. In turn, "Physruchus" went to the army for a 19-year-old volunteer and people surrounded such a decision. "The more rarely mobilized. More often go for transfer from other units. There are civilians, but most of them are motivated volunteers," the group commander said.

Also "widow" and "Physok" shared their thoughts on forced mobilization. They believe that this is a "bad idea" because a person finds himself where he does not want to be, and "the works will definitely not be right. " "To drive to the forefront of those who do not want to be here is like to solve a university problem for a 12-year-old child" as it turned out, the soldiers have to perform various tasks, and not just shoot the enemy at a long distance.

According to the fighters, they are both infantrymen, storms, and snipers. In addition, the unit has people who perform other specific tasks, for example, work with drones ("litters") or fire corrections. The preparation is in several stages, they explained. First, everyone receives basic infantry training. Then - they acquire the knowledge needed for scouts.

After that, they choose what role they are best suited - whether the air intelligence officer, or a machine gunner, or a physician and also take, if necessary, additional courses. "Work is such that if you have no desire, no instructor will make it," the soldiers added. The snipers explained that on the front line they are an important goal for the enemy - they are watching them, hunted. They were told one case during which "Physruk" almost died.

The military worked on Russian machine gunners, helped the unit keeping positions in the Seversky direction. When the enemies realized that they were "removed" by a sniper rifle, they began to shoot first from the mortar, and then from the RSSU "Grad", and from the installation of "Solnpians". The rifle was injured - a photo of twisted weapons was posted on the portal.
