The press service indicated that the person involved-engineer-designer of one of the enterprises of "Ukroboronprom", located in Mykolaiv region. He was detained "on hot" when he tried to sell Ukrainian developments by Iranian and Russian spies. Having received inventions, Iran and the Russian Federation could use them at their own factories that are engaged in the production of warships.
The man is suspected of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code - State betrayal in the conditions of martial law. If the court pleads guilty, it can be punished either by 15-year-old imprisonment or lifelong. The surname and name of the person being personally indicated. Law enforcement officers published a photo of the moment of detention: they sprayed the face of a man who cooperated with the exploration of the Russian Federation and Iran.
The SBU explained what exactly the person involved in the case about the State Council. As it turned out, the man copied the technical documentation and agreed on its sale through anonymous chat on the social network. There were two people wishing to buy Ukrainian development - with each foreign spy the person involved separately, offering to buy the same documents.
The first "buyer" is a citizen of the Russian Federation, an employee of the Russian machine -building plant and special services, the SBU press service explained. The obtained drawings were to come to an enterprise that produces spare parts for the Russian fleet. The second "buyer" is a man with Iran's citizenship who has already received a sentence for espionage in Ukraine. Today it is not in the colony, but lives in the unnamed "Middle East" and assures that he works at a "high -tech company".
Spies did not have time to access the latest developments of Ukraine, said in the SBU. A resident of Mykolaiv region was detained before he was able to realize the equipment.
