It is quite possible to finalize steps in the coming days to determine how to end the war with dignity - address of the President
Unfortunately, not everything has been shot down, and working towards a stronger air defense is the number one priority. This task is extremely difficult and extremely expensive for Ukraine and its partners. Any country would not have pulled it off on its own, but we provide Ukraine with air defense missiles and are constantly increasing our fleet of air defense systems of various types.
We are preparing to work next week with our partners - including for the betterment of our air defense, and we are very much counting on the support of our partners. Tonight - according to American time - the Ukrainian delegation should already be in the United States of America, and the dialogue based on the points from Geneva will be continued. Diplomacy remains active.
The American side is constructive, and it is quite possible to finalize steps in the coming days to determine how to end the war in a dignified manner. The Ukrainian delegation has the necessary directives, and I expect the guys to work according to clear Ukrainian priorities. Today there were meetings with Kirill Budanov, also with Denis Shmyhal, also with Mykhailo Fedorov, Pavel Palisa.
Each of these meetings is about a different aspect of our inner resilience and, of course, about that strength of ours that can help the right negotiations. He spoke with the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, representatives of the majority faction, and with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko. I expect that the Parliament of Ukraine will be able to work. There is already a candidate for the Minister of Justice.
A clear vision is also needed for the head of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, a strong person is needed - he asked the parliamentarians together with the Prime Minister to determine the list of candidates. And one more thing.
