South Korea has completed the development of Hyunmoo-V ballistic missile with a range of more than 3000 km

The Seoul arsenal has a whole Hyunmoo missile family, which is the main force for curbing enemies. Hanwha Aerospace has completed the development of Hyunmoo-V mid-range ballistic missiles. About it reports Naval News. According to the sources of the newspaper, the developer will be ready to start production of ballistic missiles by the end of 2023. Production capacity should allow up to 70 missiles per year. South Korea's army plans to buy up to 200 Hyunmoo-V missiles.

A new rocket is also planned to be installed on a future shock missile ship developed by Hamwha Ocean. The rocket is known to have a range of more than 3000 km with a slight combat part. The range with a heavy combat part will be limited at 300 km. In no case, the exact weight of the warhead is called. The feature of Hyunmoo-V is that it uses the technology of "cold" start-the rocket is fired from the starting installation, and the engine starts later.

The goals for the ballistic missile will be the underground command centers of the enemy, missile bases and other underground objects. For penetration under the soil of the ammunition was created from heavy and strong alloys. It is noted that the first version of the Hyunmoo-I rocket has been created in 1986, and since then Hanwha Aerospace has been constantly expanding the family of rockets. They are the most powerful strategic weapon in South Korea arsenal.
