The Embark Studios Swedish Studio, known thanks to The Finals online, updated information about language support in its new project. Previously, the Ukrainian language was present among the Epic Games Store, now replaced by Russian. In the summer of 2025, it was confirmed that Arc Raiders will receive Ukrainian localization on the release. At that moment, there was no Russian in the list of languages.
However, when announcing an open beta test, which should take place from October 17 to October 19, players noticed that Ukrainian was no longer supported. The Nick's Bohdander user drew attention to the changes and wrote in X (Twitter) that the studio removed the mention of Ukrainian localization, but added Russian. "So let's again activate the comments under the message to add Ukrainian to Steam," he said.
The Steamdb service stated that the support of the Russian language was added on September 15 to descriptions of achievements, and on September 22 it appeared on the list of localizations. Bohdander urged Ukrainian gamers to leave an appeal at the Steam Forum asking for a return to Ukrainian localization.
"We have two official localization agencies that can translate Arc Raiders in Ukrainian: SBT LOCALIZATION (one of their latest projects-Baldur's Gate 3) and Unlocteam (they have experience in translating online games such as Waframe. language!
