Today it is actually your farewell visit as the current President of Poland, but we will always be happy to see you in Ukraine as a friend and very bold person, ”Volodymyr Zelenskyy said. He recalled that since the beginning of the Russian invasion on February 24, 2022, Ukraine and Poland quickly organized the main logistics hub in Rzeszow. Poland provided significant defensive support to Ukraine.

She has always been with Ukraine at all international sites: in the EU, NATO, in dialogue with other partners. “It is extremely important for us to maintain such a nature of relationships, such support, such mutual understanding between our nations. The principle of good neighborhood, the principle of "for ours and your freedom", the principle of "solve any problem because of a very respectable dialogue"-all this must be maintained, "-said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

During the meeting, the presidents spoke about the further development of relations between countries, the security situation in the region and the world, the state of diplomacy, relations and possible decisions at the EU level and in coordination with NATO partners in the Hague summit. Also these months are implementing important Ukrainian-Polish agreements in defense cooperation.

The President of Poland noted the interest of Polish companies in the reconstruction of Ukraine and expanding its presence in it. According to him, it is also important to grow trade between countries and trade development. Andrzej Duda noted that he was honored for him - to receive today from Vladimir Zelensky Order of Freedom and this award has great personal importance to him.

"I have never had doubt as the President of the Republic of Poland, standing side by side with Ukraine, represented by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, is very important for the security of Poland," he said. The President of Poland expressed the hope that the connections that have developed in recent years between many Poles and Ukrainians will be the foundation for new relations between the two peoples.
