The "soldier's soldier" backpack: the Russian army received a new weapon against the Drones of the Armed Forces (video)

The new version of the Triton complex should stumble the UAV within 300 meters. It includes LPD-801 antironous rifle and two antennas protruding from a special backpack. In Russia, the Laboratory of Combating Industrial Spentine (PPS) presented at the Moscow International Exhibition of Weapons and Orelexpo 2023 weapons and products "Triton" for protection against drones that the military can wear. The developers have told details in their Telegram channel.

According to them, the portable complex "Triton" contains an antironous rifle LPD-801, as well as two modules of suppression: LGS-608 (800 MHz) and LGS-609 (900 MHz) with a circular orientation chart that rises from the back of the soldier's back masts fixed on a backpack. This design should protect the carrier itself and its entire unit from the UAV of the commercial class, including the FPV-Kamikadze.

Several Russian media called a novelty "suit of soldiers of the future", although, in addition to a backpack with "Triton", the usual form of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and a bulletproof vest with the results for stores hangs on the dummy. The modules of suppression of LGS-608 and LGS-609 have antennas with a circular orientation diagram, that is, evenly cover the space in the radius of action (about 300 m), creating a kind of dome of radio interruption.

From a full -time battery, the complex can run about four hours. If necessary, the modules can be removed and installed on the ground. According to the Laboratory of the PPS, they have undergone state tests in Russia, and are now being tested directly in the Russian troops. These modules allegedly provided the suppression factor, that is, the ratio of the range of radio suppression of control channels to the communication range of the control point of management <-> BLU, not less than 0.

3 at the capacity of the transmitter FPV-therose-1 watt. In August, the Laboratory of PPS showed at the Army-2023 forum the Triton Complex for installation on tanks. The developers promise that the system will suppress the control channels and transmission of FPV-pings operating in frequency ranges of 868 \ 915 \ 1300 \ 2400 MHz.

In an interview with focus, the founder of the Antidron Ukraine volunteer initiative, Serhiy Gerasimyuk, stated that the Russians stole the idea of the Triton HR "from Ukrainians. Back in July, the project announced the test of its system to protect the T-72 tanks from FPV and UAV-bombers. Soon, the Laboratory of PPS presented a very similar solution. It was also written that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation use antitrone guns "LPP-801" in the war in Ukraine.
