According to the anonymous sources of Rosmia, information about the detention of the Russian general is not even distributed by internal channels. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation confirmed the arrest of General Sergiy Surovikin, Deputy Commander of the Joint Grouping of Russian Troops in Ukraine. This information was conveyed by two sources close to the Ministry of Defense Ministry, reports the Russian media The Moscow Times on June 28.

It is worth noting that official comments from the defense department did not come. One of the sources commented on the reason for the arrest, saying, "There was no 'ok' there for the authorities. There is nothing more I can say. " The second source noted that the management stated that today there would be news about Surovikin in the context of Yevgeny Prigogine.
