War in Israel will not significantly affect the supply of US weapons to Ukraine - analyst (video)

Oleksandr Musienko stressed that Ukraine and Israel are now "one side of the barricades", and the war in the Middle East will not significantly affect the supply of weapons by partners. The conflict in the Middle East will not significantly affect military and economic support for Ukraine from the United States. This opinion was expressed by Oleksandr Musienko, the head of the Center for Military Legal Research, on the YouTube channel Focus.

According to Musienko, the war in Israel can divert attention in the information space, but will not interfere with military support from partners. "There are many programs that are already working and financed. For example, supply F-16, which we are waiting for the spring-summer 2024, supply of missiles, weapons," the expert says.

He emphasizes that discussions in the United States and the US and British media are being actively discussed in providing Ukraine with a new $ 50 and $ 100 billion support package. "This is to insure against any risks. And here the US position is absolutely correct,"-says Musienko. According to him, President Baiden's administration wants to insure from the possible risks that may arise.

"For example, multiplication of conflicts is what we see in the Middle East in Israel now," adds the head of the Center for Military Legal Research. In addition, as Musienko noted, the year of political turbulence is currently in the United States. "We see what is the situation in the US. The resignation of the speaker and the issue of voting for assistance to Ukraine," the expert says.

In his opinion, the issue of support of Ukraine has already been resolved in the Presidential Administration of America, and it will be provided. The main nuances, according to Alexander Musienko, are the volume of assistance, the terms of its provision and the type of equipment that the country can receive. "There will be definite support for active defense," says the analyst.

He stressed that the United States will in any case keep Ukraine in focus and will not give Russia any chances to defeat Ukrainian troops or select our territories. According to the expert, the issue of assistance to Ukraine is not related to Israel. "This is a matter that has begun to be discussed before Hamas's terrorists attack on Israel. This is what has been actively discussed in the media within a few weeks," says the analyst.

Musienko stressed that Ukraine and Israel are now finding "one side of the barricades". According to him, the fact that Israel is threatened with Ukraine. "Russia is in a direct way, leading an aggressive war against Ukraine, Iran is not direct - supplying weapons to Russia," Musienko said. He added that Ukrainians should be understood - now Israel should receive the right help. "In this help, we intersect the nomenclature and composition by 20%.

These are different types of individual weapons," the analyst assures. On October 7, Hamas attacked Israel from the Gaza Sector. In particular, more than two thousand rockets were released, after which the militants began an invasion of the country. The tahal declared martial law and launched an operation "Iron Swords". On October 8, Israel officially announced the war and put into operation "Alef", which has not been used since 1973.

Also, on October 8, the press service of the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel stated that more than a hundred Israelites were stolen by Hamas militants. Whereas more than 600 people were killed and two thousand were injured. On the morning of October 9, it became known that the Israeli Defense Army continued to strike the Gaza Sector.

According to media reports, Hamas command points were affected, a building where militants, a command center, "operational property" and an asset used for intelligence were affected. Recall that the Wall Street Journal, with reference to Hamas and Hezbolla's representatives, said Iran approved the invasion of fighters into Israel and helped organize the attack.
