"There were nearly 60 Russian missiles and more than 20 Shahaneda in a day. It was calculated by a combined blow against our power system, electricity, gas infrastructure," he explained. According to the President, not all rockets managed to knock down. There were a hit - and many tasks in the SES and energy. The President expressed his personal thanks to the employees of the emergency services who have shown efficiency and courage during the elimination of the consequences of blows.

Zelensky said that preparing for the Peace Summit in Switzerland, to which he personally invited the leaders of Denmark, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, the Secret Prince of Saudi Arabia and the Secretary -General of the Council of Europe. On May 8, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov and commander -in -chief Alexander Sirsky reported on the situation at the front.
