According to the results of the global peaceful summit, it is necessary to paint a plan of peace and hand it to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky told about the actions of Ukraine and its partners in the near future on June 27 during a press conference in Brussels. Speaking to journalists, Zelensky stated that two documents should be at the heart of future work.
The first document is the Formula of Peace, ten points of Ukraine announced in the spring of 2023. The second is the meeting of the 101 member of the Global Peace Summit, which took place in Switzerland in June. The first step before the end of the war was the summit, the purpose of which was to gather as many like-minded participants as possible. The next steps are to create a plan based on "crisis issues" formulated in Switzerland.
At the same time, the plan does not need to work for a long time, as people continue to die in Ukraine, the President emphasized. "We do not want the war for many years," Zelensky said. The head of Ukraine reminded the attendees of Putin, who brought the war to Ukraine. The politician urged partners to work faster. "The next steps are to work on a plan for every crisis of this war that Putin has brought to our country.
And we have to prepare this plan for months," he sounded during a press conference. It should be noted that on June 27, Zelensky met with the President of the Euro Council Charles Michel and the leader of the European Commission Ursula von Der Lyen. During the broadcast, they showed the moment of a security agreement between Ukraine and the EU. Earlier, Focus spoke about other security agreements concluded with partners of Ukraine. The first was the United Kingdom in January 2024.
In June 2024 - it was signed with the United States. To date, 18 documents have been signed, in which Ukrainians promise support with weapons, ammunition and training of fighters. The agreements do not mention the possibility of participating in the war with the Russian Federation other fighters, except for the Defense Forces of Ukraine. On June 15-16, a global peace summit took place, in which more than 90 heads of states were signed by the final communique.
The communique contained three main crisis points: atomic safety, food safety, issues of captives and stolen children.
