To spread: the Russian Scientific and Production Center "Unmanned Aviation Systems" (NSC BAS) reported the development of a unmanned aerial vehicle capable of overcoming 1000 kilometers. About it writes the Russian edition "Izvestia". It is reported that the new drone received a piston engine with a power of 100 horsepower and will be able to fly up to 1000 km at a speed of 150-180 km/h. In this case, the device is able to carry 200 kg of amounts.

The length of the fuselage is about 6 m, and the wingspan is about 10 m. Among the stated UAV capabilities - observation and monitoring, transmission of information in real time operator mode, automatic rushing and landing, passing on the route and the possibility of parachuting of a freight container. Initially, the device was created for transportation of goods.

At the same time, the Russian Federation does not exclude that in the future UAVs will be used in the war as a military transport drone or drone-bomber. "Recently knocked down in the suburbs, 60 kg of explosives have carried out 60 kg. Our car can raise 200 kg - it is several times more powerful. It is also important that our car is not a one -time camicadze. It can reach the target, drop the load and return," - says Russian military expert Vasyl Dandykin.

The developers intend to lift a new UAV into the air in August-September 2025 and start a program of flight tests. Recall that the forces of Ukraine already use heavy unmanned percussion complexes on the basis of a civilian aircraft - Project Cessna. These devices can carry 250-pound bombs and affect targets in the deep rear of Russia.
