There will be no peace talks in 2024, and in the Russian Federation the opposition can start fighting Putin - Shvets

We are waiting for a fighting 2024, because the event has decided that we need to get in the war more actively. The Ukrainian side has to work more with the Russian opposition, according to political observer Leonid Shvets. The issue of peace talks in 2024 is not on the agenda in any parties to the war, and therefore this year will be combat and difficult.

The prospects and successes this year, including the assistance and inclusion in the war of Western partners, and they demonstrate that they are completely ready for this, because there is simply no other option. This was stated in an interview with focus by political observer Leonid Shvets. According to him, despite the fact that the same Poland is actively militarized and accumulates weapons, the initiative of Vladimir Zelensky to take the air defense system in Poland is quite appropriate.

It is in the winter that Ukraine's energy system is extremely vulnerable, so Patriot systems will not be superfluous. With regard to the desire of the Poles to fight according to polls, according to the political observer, in Ukraine we would see the same picture as a result of polls. Those who have seen themselves in the forefront for these two years have already joined the Armed Forces.

With regard to the moods in Russian society in 2024 against the background of shelling of Belgorod, in the opinion of Leonid Schvets, there may be some movement of resistance to the authorities, but how powerful it will remain under the big question. But 140 million Russians have to find many people who will be ready for at least some fight against the dictatorial regime.

Unfortunately, the Russian Federation does not have an open Anti -Putin movement and sites that opposition could be expressed, the political observer notes. But life changes, like society, so such people need to work on the Ukrainian side, according to Leonid Shvets. A complete conversation with political observer Leonid Shvets will soon be released on the Focus YouTube channel.
