The city mayor reported on his Facebook page that if you find such "balls" you need to call the special services at 101 or 102.

- Vitaly Maletsky warned. He stressed that in no case can you approach and touch such balls, since unobtrusive cassette ammunition can explode at any time. The General Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region reported the detection of similar balls after the Russian shelling on August 26, 2024. Law enforcement officers warned that cassette ammunition in the form of a large metal ball may often not be detonated immediately and pose a major threat to the population.

"These" balls "can explode from the slightest touch, not to mention the impact or movement, and the consequences of such an explosion may be irreparable," - warned T. V. Head of the Department of Explosive Service of Police of Lviv Oblast, Colonel of Police Andriy Stangret.
