The Ukrainian court decided that the head of the occupation administration of Zaporizhzhya region should spend one and a half ten years. On June 29, the SBU reported a sentence of a court, which received a collaborator and head of the occupation administration of Zaporizhzhya region Yevgeny Balytsky. For active cooperation with the invaders, he will serve 15 years with confiscation when he gets into the hands of law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.

The details of the prosecution are set out on the official Facebook page of the institution. Yevgeny Balytsky was convicted in absentia, with no state betrayal in the list of charges against him.

Instead, there are two other articles of the Criminal Code: the SBU investigators have documented the following actions of the collaborator Balytsky, who before the beginning of the Great War was a People's Deputy from the Party of Regions: the SBU post states that "complex measures" were carried out to plant a collaborator of Balytsky for lattice. It should be noted that Yevgeny Balytskyi is a 53-year-old exnardep, who was born in Ukrainian Melitopol, but received Russian citizenship.

For the first time he became a MP in 2014 - he went to the Verkhovna Rada from the Party of Regions. After the Dignity Revolution, he re -entered parliament - as a self -nominated. He later became a deputy of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Council from the Opposition Bloc. The collaborator in his public statements regularly spoke in support of the Russian Federation and assured that the Crimea was annexed legally. Balytsky is currently in the occupied territory of Zaporizhzhya region.

His Telegram channel states that on June 29 he interviewed a British journalist who writes for the Iranian edition. We remind that with the support of Balytsky, on June 27, the occupying power put one and a half thousand inhabitants of Zaporozhye: now they are threatened with mobilization in the Russian army. In addition, in May 2023, it became known about the so -called "people's militia", which is created in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
