In addition, the President's office added that Zelensky had informed Stoltenberg about massive Russian attacks on Ukrainian cities and communities that have taken place recently. The meeting also noted the importance of signing a bilateral security agreement between Ukraine and the United Kingdom within the G7 joint declaration, approved at the previous NATO summit in Vilnius.
"The President spoke about continuing work on similar documents with other partners and emphasized the importance of the urgent signing of such agreements that will act before Ukraine's accession to NATO," - informed in the press service of Zelensky. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland Ignacis Cassis also announced the arrival of President Zelensky and posted a photo with the Ukrainian leader. On January 12, it was reported that Ukraine and the United Kingdom have signed security agreements that would apply to NATO accession. According to the Agreement, the United Kingdom will exchange intelligence with Ukraine, help with cybersecurity, military training and strengthen defense and industrial cooperation.
