According to the intelligence service, the 35-year-old Russian was recruited by SBU staff. "In June 2023, a foreign intelligence agent arrived in the territory of the Republic of Crimea and began to prepare a terrorist attack, which he planned to carry out by undermining the car of the head of the republic," the FSB reported. The man was detained when he took the bomb from the hiding place. Cases on articles about an attempt on a terrorist attack and illegal purchase of explosives were opened.
