Ukraine must do everything to ensure that no Russian strike goes unpunished - the President's address
We are preparing special solutions that can strengthen our defense in these areas and cause greater losses to the occupier, and above all to those Russian units that bully our cities, that bully our people in Nikopol, Kherson, and other cities that are easier for them to reach. They actually organize safaris on people and train drone operators at the expense of killing Ukrainians on the streets and roads. We need more protection and more of our active operations.
The Unmanned Systems Force is the Magyar Birds, our other respective units will be much more involved and resourced. There is already an expanded functionality for the military - we talked about it in various brigades - and a system of electronic points, e-points, for the evacuation of the wounded by ground robotic complexes, and also for other uses of NRK by combat units, should be operational from December 1. The solution is prepared.
We also fully provide direct financing to the teams for their needs - for drones, for the purchase of components. We are also working with our partners to fill the PURL program, a program that allows us to buy American weapons, and in particular air defense systems, missiles for them. Rockets for "patriots" are especially important in this program. Tonight, the Patriots did a very good job of knocking down Russian ballistics.
But much more forces, systems, and missiles are needed for them to protect life. This week there is a decision by the countries of Northern Europe - Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway - and our Baltic friends: another 500 million dollars to the PURL program, this will help us significantly.
We are also preparing the supply of other strong air defense systems, the strengthening of our aviation - we are preparing a strong agreement with France, and in the near future we will finalize it, I am sure, our historic agreement. We are also preparing an energy agreement with Greece in order to maximally expand the options for supplying gas to Ukraine this winter and in the strategic perspective.
Agreements with various European countries - from Norway to Greece, so that our state has guarantees of gas supply. Thanks to all partners who help us. And today there were very important discussions with our military, about our missile program, its level. The Long Neptunes have proven themselves in the long-range sanctions against Russia, we are getting more results every month with missiles - thanks to the manufacturers, very grateful for this, thanks to our soldiers.
More and more often, Russia will not be able to turn a blind eye to the war - now it is loud enough, and you can see what is really happening, because there are our Ukrainian completely fair answers to everything that Russia does against us, our people. Just today, and in Kyiv alone, six people were killed by a Russian attack. My condolences to family and friends. More than 30 people were injured, including children. There were also strikes on our other towns and villages.
Ukraine must do everything to ensure that no Russian attack goes unpunished. Our weapons, world sanctions, and political pressure on Russia are all working. And will work more. Thanks to everyone who is with Ukraine! Thank you to everyone who protects our state and our Ukrainian interests. Today was the report of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko.
